Made for your workflow

A WYSIWYG Markdown editing experience

Use the Blabla Markdown plugin to edit Markdown with rendered text, Mermaid diagrams, and mathematical equations. Keep reference images or a PDF beside your note in the same workspace.

Turn reading into understanding

Map the structure of an article, record the reasoning behind a project decision, or turn collected references into an outline for your next piece of work. Keep notes and source material together so you can compare them as you write.

Get started

  1. Open a Markdown document in Blabla and keep it in the workspace alongside your reference material.
  2. Organize content with headings and use the outline to return to a section. Record observations and sources with lists and links.
  3. Add Mermaid diagrams or mathematical equations when you need to explain a structure or derivation, and see them render as you edit.

Write from your source material

Try a Markdown note for a reference you are studying. Keep the original material visible while you write.

  1. Start with a question

Use a heading for the question you want to answer, then record observations in a list.

  2. Make relationships visible

Add a Mermaid code block when a diagram helps explain your thinking. Use math syntax for equations that the plugin supports.

  3. Keep the context

Add a source link and keep your PDF or image beside the note. Check app-specific syntax before moving documents from another editor.

Before you get started

Which Markdown files can I edit?

The Markdown plugin supports .md and .markdown files. Editing is provided by the plugin within Blabla.

Can I include diagrams and equations?

The plugin supports Mermaid diagrams and mathematical equations. Use a Mermaid code block for a diagram and math syntax for an equation; the editor renders supported content as you work.

Is this a complete replacement for an Obsidian vault or Notion workspace?

Markdown editing alone does not establish full compatibility with another app. App-specific links, attachments, databases, and plugin syntax need separate checks before migration.
